My path to becoming a plastic surgeon started as a child growing up as one of two sons that frequently accompanied my father to hospitals on weekends to round on patients.
I knew from an early age that I would one day become a physician. After finishing medical school I completed my General Surgery Residency training in various hospitals in New Jersey and New York City, including the world-renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, working alongside some of the leading cancer surgeons in the country. Despite caring for a full range of patients in every capacity from Trauma to Intensive Care to outpatient surgeries, it was always the cases with the Plastic Surgeons I trained with that got me the most excited.

Pearce Plastic Surgery is a specialist medical service in Toronto, Ontario led by a physician whose passion for plastic surgery was shaped early—accompanying his father to hospitals on weekends and deciding from a young age to pursue a career in medicine. After medical school, he completed General Surgery Residency training across multiple hospitals in New Jersey and New York City, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he worked alongside leading cancer surgeons and gained broad clinical experience across trauma, intensive care, and outpatient surgery settings. Throughout residency, it was the opportunity to train with plastic surgeons that sparked the strongest enthusiasm and clarified his professional direction. Today, Pearce Plastic Surgery brings that focused plastic surgery training and hospital-based expertise to patients in the Toronto area, with a foundation rooted in rigorous surgical experience and a commitment to patient care.
